Edward hailed from the Netherlands. He joined IITA on 14 February 2014. Until his death he worked as Team Leader/Country Project Advisor, Turkana, Project/Senior Agribusiness Officer, NORAD project based in Nairobi, Kenya. A valued member of staff, he will be remembered for his professionalism, diligence, calmness, and friendliness. He was 57 years old. He is survived by his wife Mercy, and children Steve, Vanessa, and William. We pray that his soul rest in peace.
