It still feels like a dream. It still feels so unreal. Growing up, you were everything to me. You gave me the time, energy, imagination, safety and laughter I needed to thrive. I remember playing charades with you and singing sounds of music with you. You made me love music because your voice was heavenly. Uncle, I wanted to tell you how much you saved me as a child, how much you changed my life, how much those moments brought joy to my heart. I was sure I would have the time to tell you, to thank you. I take solace in knowing that in Christ, death is merely a door we walk through to experience an eternity of bliss with our Father. I find joy in knowing that we WILL meet again at the throne of God. I smile thinking about stars that will be on your heavenly crown, each for the lives, hearts, and generations you saved (mine included). You lived well, Uncle! You showed us all that love can be gentle and healing. You were an example of how good loving can and should be. I thank you and I love you!
