Duncan had an amazing gift of making everyone feel valued and good about themselves. He brought happiness into people's lives. The thing I will remember most about Duncan is his sense of loyalty and comradeship. I will never forget his friendship to me when my father died in 2008 and how important it was to Duncan to turn up to my dad's funeral and support me. I can’t believe that we are now having to be at Duncan's funeral. Generous, loyal, intelligent. Duncan stood by his friends in good times and bad. He was the glue that held us together. We have lots of memories of Duncan at weddings too, not least our own. Duncan was an usher at our wedding, guiding our friends and family and generally putting everyone at ease and helping everyone to enjoy the day. I will always remember Duncan's love of the Western Bulldogs. I roomed with Duncan on two stag do's and no matter how late the hour, Duncan would still log on to follow the Bulldogs, and keep his voice lowered as he cheered on every move, concerned he might wake me. I loved going out with Duncan to rock gigs. These were wild nights, but with Duncan I felt amazing camaraderie and fellowship. Duncan's favourite band was AC⚡DC and he loved the track Hells Bells. Duncan, you're listening to the sound of Heaven's Bells now, rock on big man x
