My earliest memories of Derek are of his kindness in being part of a regular team to ferry us students safely home after evening meetings in the late 70s, and the joy of his "second" baptism.
I remember his gentleness, kindness and sense of fun but, above all, his enduring servant heart through all those years of wedding photography.... So good to have known him.
