I am so sad to hear of David’s passing. He was an absolute inspiration and someone I quote to this day. I had the privilege of being taught my Primary PGCE by David for some areas - including our opening lecture where he played Pink Floyd ‘We don’t need no education’ as the open to our course. I was hooked. I then took part in the Cambridge Review with David and he was always cheery and supportive to us students. A truly inspirational person who will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
