I was so sorry to hear of David’s untimely passing. We first met when we were both University Lecturers in the 1990s, I was in Psychology and David was in Education. He was always so enthusiastic about research in child development. We later became colleagues in the Faculty in 2003, David was also very excited by applying neuroscience to education, and he had a number of outstanding students at that time. I still remember driving to a neuroscience in education conference in Birmingham together in his car, and talking about research for the entire journey. He was such a positive person, always so kind, and so committed to his students and to improving children’s lives. I send you my deepest condolences.
