I met David during the Haskayne Leadership Expedition in 2015. He encouraged me to share my musical talents, and I wrote my first song shortly after that trip as a result. I feel truly honoured to have continued playing music with David (and Julian) after the trip as well. David was one-of-a-kind. He encouraged authenticity by being authentic himself. He was incredibly kind and had an open heart. My greatest condolences to his family and close friends. I will always remember the impact he had on my life.
