I have great memories of Mr Rice and I was so sad to hear of his passing. Whilst I did economics he never taught me that but was a great supporter when we wanted to set up the first ever girls cricket team! We managed to get this off the ground and his daughter Zoe played in the team too. There were many people who were unsure of this when Chloe Kingham and I first suggested it so to have Mr Rice's backing was excellent, I will be forever grateful to him for this and his help with the team.
