I am shattered to hear of Craig's passing and offer my heartfelt, aching condolences to Craig's family and other friends, and especially to his wife and kids. I am left confused and shocked and I understand if some might feel a wild frustration or even anger at what has been lost. I hope those feelings mellow and we remember Craig for his wonderful energy & humour.
We were buddies at Uni, studying to become teachers. Craig was smart, witty, focused and bawdy - all the things I love in my friends. He loved a good joke almost as much as he loved his running & fitness. He could banter and he could canter ... I just cannot believe he's gone.
If you haven't read WHAuden's poem 'Stop all the clocks', maybe do so. Think of Craig.
My heart goes out to those closest to Craig who are left with a hole in their life, which is hard to reconcile. My sincere condolences and I hope you find the strength to get through the next hour, the next day, the next week ... and move forward with kind, loving memories of Craig. xxx
