With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Comfort Isong Umoh, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and a treasured grand mother. Comfort was born on 14 November 1967, and passed away peacefully on 21 October 2025, at the age of 58. Hailing from Ikot Obong Edong in Ikot Ekpene, Comfort embodied grace, kindness, and dedication in every aspect of her life. As a loving wife to Elder Deacon Isong Umoh, she was a pillar of strength and support, nurturing their partnership with unwavering love and devotion. Together, they forged a life grounded in faith, community, and family. As the matriarch of the Isong Umoh family, Comfort was blessed with five children who were the light of her life. She instilled in them the values of compassion, integrity, and perseverance, and her enduring legacy lives on through them. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family as she embraced her community with open arms, often engaging in selfless acts of service. Comfort was known for her gentle smile and the warmth with which she welcomed everyone into her home. Her presence was a source of comfort and solace, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Comfort Isong Umoh will be held on 26 November 2025, at Ikot Awak, Ikot Ekpene. Family, friends, and the community are invited to join in commemorating the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many hearts. As we bid farewell to Comfort, we hold dear the memories of her unwavering love and the profound impact she made in our lives. Her spirit will remain a guiding light, shining brightly in the hearts of all she loved.
