Chris what a character, I joined Cambs back in 1998 and went to blue watch Cambridge with Chris and Tim. I remember the jokes we played all day, the best one was the radio hidden in the drains outside the fire station, Tim would speak to the students walking by from the drains it was so funny watching them, they couldn’t work out where the voice was coming from, then Chris dressed up as a homeless person walked by and off Tim went on his talking, then Chris opens the drain cover picks up the radio looking at it weirdly then runs off to Parker’s peace, swiftly being chased by Tim from the fire station, and we’re all laughing so much as we all knew what was happening, the good old days, a great fireman, both of them and both taken far too soon.
Chris just a great character to be around and will be sadly missed by all
