After many weekends visiting Holly Lodge and feeling the warm comfort of returning home, Josie moved out (much to Emily, Xuxa and my disappointment) and we saw less of our second parents. It was always with great pleasure that we would hear entertaining tales from Josie about her Dad. The round robin at Christmas a few years ago, the essay he wrote about brexit, his competative nature with Juno and Jess. Whatever story, always made us laugh with huge fondness for the one of a kind - Chris Haworth.
I feel truly privileged to have known Chris and I feel devastated for my dearest friend Josie, for Marigold, Hennie and Rob. I can't imagine the pain you're feeling now, but I'm certain that it's the wise advise, pragmatic outlook and strong head that he taught you that will be what will get you through.
