Brother Ben was my first and only spiritual father. From the evening service that I had first heard an invitation to Jesus Christ on October 4, 1981 leading to my acceptance of Jesus as my Lord and Savior the very next evening - Oct 5, 1981 - to this day there could never be another human being that has touch me as much as Brother Ben. He accepting me where I was (a street rat) and taught me how to love the Word of God; how to never give up while I worked my way through college; but more importantly he taught me how to be a man and how to raise a godly family.
