Bella was a very energetic dog in her earlier years, she loved to explore , and wander off to do just that. As a puppy Bella’s pitbull brother “Kujo” dug a whole big enough for her to escape and Bella went missing for 2 weeks. After posting multiple flyers, making phone calls, and putting out the word that there was a reward for her return, Bella finally made her way back HOME.
In her later years she became very stubborn and would be upset and give a deep sigh when she would have to come inside for the day. That’s how free her spirit was.
In early December 2023 Bella received a terminal heart diagnosis and wasn’t expected to survive the day. She made a complete 180 recovery and was almost back to her old self. Bella was also able to attend one more family cabin trip and she loved to explore the cabin and eat the snow.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the echoes of her barks, the soft padding of her paws, and the warmth of her companionship linger in our hearts.
Today, we say goodbye to Bella, but let us not mourn her passing. Instead, let us celebrate the vibrant spirit she shared with us, the memories that bring smiles to our faces, and the love that will endure beyond the boundaries of time.
Rest in peace, dear Bella. Thank you for being a shining light and for the time that we have shared
