It is hard to accept the death of a beloved; especially when you didn't have the chance to say goodbye; especially when the deceased was taken so suddenly and so shockingly at the prime of life.
Tony Akinyemi lived a life of dedication to the cause of others. He could go hungry for others to be satisfied. His was a typical life of sacrifice which is scarce in our today's world, especially among the privileged few. He would easily give his trust to you until you proved him wrong. Unassuming, gentle, hardly could hurt a fly. Our days together at Saint Joseph's College, Ondo, brought us together and we remained so till few weeks ago when last we spoke. I shared some thoughts with him to which, he as usual, gave his candid advise and support.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Adieu Tony Tonero, omo Akinyemi.
