It is with profound sorrow that we commemorate the life and service of Ann Ijeoma Obong-David, who was an integral part of the National Monitoring Centre from September 1st, 2004, until her untimely departure on August 30th, 2024.
Ann was not just a staff member; she was a pillar of strength and integrity within NAPTIP Renowned for her unwavering dedication, she consistently stood for truth and fostered unity among all officers of the unit. Her contributions were immeasurable, and her leadership was indispensable.
More than her professional achievements, Ann was a mentor and a friend to many. Her ability to bring people together, coupled with her sage advice, made her a beloved figure within and beyond the walls of the National Monitoring Centre.
Ann’s legacy is one of excellence, camaraderie, and a deep commitment to service. As we remember her today, we commit to upholding the values she exemplified and to continue building on the foundation she helped establish.
Her memory will forever be a beacon of inspiration to us all. Ann is survived by her loving family, to whom she was a devoted wife and mother. Our thoughts and prayers remain with them during this difficult time.
