Dr. Amiel Modupe Fagbulu, an Icon of Education!!!
Dr Fagbulu was a member of the class of '39 at Kings College, Lagos. He also attended The Higher College, Yaba, Lagos (Nigeria's first institutions of higher learning), The University College, Ibadan, The London University and Harvard University where he obtained a doctoral degree in Educational Planning.
He was an Education Consultant to:
• UNESCO
• UNICEF
• World Bank
• USAID Ford Foundation
• The Federal Government of Nigeria (Ministry of Education)
Late Dr. Amiel Modupe Fagbulu was a Fellow of the Nigeria Academy of Education and his contributions to education in administration and content planning will remain a national legacy.
“Baba” as he was fondly called by all, wrote and published many books. He was an unrepentant believer in the reading culture.
Baba is survived by a wife, children and a loving family, friends and well-wishers.
