Both Dorian and Alex were happy, friendly and funny young people who will be severely missed by so many. Every interaction I had with the boys was always a joy.
I had the absolute pleasure of teaching Dorian in my first class last year. From the get-go he stood out for his humorous, enthusiastic and creative personality. He took every opportunity to make people smile with his funny dances and would never take himself too seriously (dressing up as a granny for express yourself week). He had a passion for art and design technology and always made me smile with a daily drawing he’d gift me. At the start of the year he told me he would love to be a lego designer in the future or if not, an architect. He told me that if successful, he’d come back and build me a house someday! He was kind, helpful and a great friend to all of his peers. He loved music and would always enjoy singing (yelling) all the words to Living on a Prayer during morning meetings and choir practice. I know I will always hold such fond memories of his cheeky, smiley self and will be very proud of the person he was always.
