My memory of Ajit uncle goes back to when I was 5 or 6 yrs old... He used to come over to visit my dad or we used to go to his house or we used to meet at some function or the other in Allahabad. And I remember always laughing uproariously at his jokes and his mimicry which was amazing. I remember him at my place having a drink with Papa and my mom serving them both shami kababs... Also the get togethers at Rachna's house. My mom had been so happy when Lini aunty and Ajit uncle had shifted to Bangalore. It was like having a piece of Allahabad right here in Bangalore. It's so sad... can't imagine uncle gone. May he rest in peace and keep everyone laughing in Heaven.
