Adrian was an absolutely phenomenal human being. A fantastic father and husband, exemplary son, and fiercely loyal friend. He touched the lives of many people during his limited time in this world. He was one of the most principled yet equally caring people I have ever met. He unapologetically stuck to his morals, even when it was incredibly difficult for him to do so. It is one of many attributes we admire most about him. In school he was an all-rounder. Academic, sportsman, leader, and liked by all. He also had a grade 5 in music, and karate training. His accomplishments continued to flow after school. After his time at the University of the Witwatersrand, he worked as a Chartered Accountant before pursuing an MBA at MIB in Trieste, Italy, where he graduated summa cum laude. He was accomplished in his professional life as well as outside of work. Adrian also had a pilot's licence and, in our younger years, had actually also passed the exams to join the South African Air Force (coming in at second place in the assessments). Above all though, Adrian had a heart of gold. Compassionate and dependable, we all knew Adrian was there for us if we ever needed anything. His passing has left a massive void in our lives, and we are all privileged to have crossed paths with such an amazing person. Please feel free to share memorable stories of Adrian, especially ones that his children can reflect back on one day to learn more about the great person their papa was, and what an impact he had on all our lives.
