Our great friend and colleague Emma Stone has sadly passed away, she was loved and deeply respected by many of us in the UK business and beyond. Her presence will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her. The first major project I worked on when I joined bp was delivering "Fuel Your Adventure", a marketing campaign in partnership with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Emma and I worked closely on it, delivering forecourt POS, website, scratchcards, digital downloads and an online game. It was a fantastic project to be part of, and I loved working with Emma on it. A few months later, Emma went to (I think) Universal Studios and send me this picture of her & Cole at the Jurassic Park ride.

Beautiful Emma - I am at a loss really and like everyone feel totally heartbroken, numb and in a state of disbelief. You were one in a trillion-million..... I have never ever known anyone with the courage and dignity that you displayed every day. You always had that beautiful infectious smile and that little chuckle that made me smile. Through all the health setbacks you faced, again it was always done with that beautiful smile, and you ALWAYS asked "and How are you"? - totally selfless. I also still wish that I could of worn that lovely perfume you were wearing one day - I think you thought I was a bit strange as I couldn't stop smelling you....anyway I tried the same perfume on me and it smelt like cat pee!!! We have lost the most amazing, beautiful lady and heaven has gained the most glorious angel. RIP Emma - and until we meet again - love you xx
