Edris Kerr, affectionately called, Chrissy, Edris, Mamma, Mommy, Sister Kerr, was born in Burtons, Linstead, St. Catherine. She is one of 10 children and is survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She attended the Time & Patience Primary School. She wanted to be an Early Childhood Teacher, but funds were limited and she instead did an apprenticeship in Dressmaking with the Taffes in Barradeen Commodore, Linstead. She was married to Felix Kerr (deceased 2005). She has 2 daughters (Linne and Kimberley), 1 son (Frank), 2 Grandsons (Kurt and Chad), 2 Grandaughters (Biankah and A'Shari) 1 Son in Law(Michael) and 1 Daughter in Law (Tonya). She leaves numerous family and friends and church sisters and brothers. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy Linstead for 58 years where she held many positions of Leaderahip She was also a woman who have brought many members of her community, Rose Villa Drive, Rose Hall to know christianity. She was a woman of God and had strong beliefs and faith in God. Her faith and trust in God was unbreakable.
