I understand / dr.uwa.james.usen Memories (0) Condolences (12) Dr Uwa James Usen May 12, 1963 - June 30, 2020 Born on 12 May 1963, Dr Usen attended secondary school at St. Gregory’s College, Obalende in Lagos. From there, he studied fine art with a specialisation in sculpture at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. In 1988, he earned his Masters degree in fine art( sculpture) at the same institution and later gained a PhD at the University of Port Harcourt. A distinguished fellow of the SNA, Dr Uwa James Usen will be missed sorely by all those who loved him; students, colleagues and family alike.
