I first heard about Dr. Campbell through my agency, SEEK Education. It wasn't until I applied for my master's at CSULA, where I actually got to meet Dr. Campbell and get to know him. He was such a sweet man and a lot of my classmates and I would see him as the ABA program grandfather. He was so patient with us and did his best to make sure we understood the concepts and asked us thought provoking questions. I remember him not being tech savvy, but decided to do all the fieldwork stuff through the computer. I was told he needed a task analysis to get through using the technology. He would also need some assistance when we were using Zoom for lectures during the pandemic. My classmates and I would collectively find it so precious that he was trying his best to lecture us even with such a barrier in his way. It's such an ordinary memory to have of Dr. Campbell, but it's one that I hold dear because it's those small and mundane moments that make life interesting. His work and teachings will live on through us all and I hope he is now peacefully resting.
