I am so sad to hear this news. Jonathan and I served as governors at Addenbrooke's (CUHFT) and his insight and intellect were invaluable in supporting his fellow governors. He really cared about the patients and the staff at the hospital and was always ready to challenge on issues which impacted on patient care or on the experiences of the staff. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the University and the Hospital worked closely together for the benefit of science and the local population. He was highly respected and earb=ned that respect with his integrity. He will be sadly missed.
