Doris Amaka Onyema

March 19, 1996 - May 26, 2020

Doris was a loving and caring sister, daughter, niece, cousin, and grand daughter. She had a bright and promising future ahead of her. She loved to try new things, when she found a new passion, she pursued it to the fullest. She loved life and brightened every space. Her smile was not only contagious, it was welcoming and calming. As a dancer, her movements were expressive, she responded to each beat, and she was such a joy to watch. As a barber, she gave the best haircuts. Her work quickly became noticed and she was featured on BBC’s 2020 International Women's day special edition. She was an inspiration to young girls and women. It was just the beginning for Doris. Her memories will remain in our hearts forever. Please take a moment to share your fond and memorable moments of Doris. Words, pictures, and videos are welcome.

I know your soul is resting in heaven because you had a good heart! Your vibe was always positive, you always wanted to be a star barber and you made it!! Only God knows why you are gone and the reason! May the lord give us the strength to get through this period
