I had the privilege to be closely associated with Mr Azad during my tenure as Ambassador of india to Thailand (2014-16). I found him to a thorough gentleman always stepping forward to take the lead in community events In his passing away, we have lost a stalwart of the Indian community in Bangkok. My sincere condolences to Mrs Santosh Azad, Vivekji and all family members
