I was very saddened to learn of Denis's passing and wish to convey my deepest condolences to his family. Denis was my marketing professor at ESSEC in 1992. I became his research assistant (teaching negotiation to executives). He introduced me to social psychology and was instrumental in my decision to do a PhD. I remember walking the six flights of stairs (no elevator) to his apartment near Chatelet in Paris to discuss research papers and a fabulous concert by Touré Kunda. I mostly remember a mentor who was so patient and nice with all of us lost PhD students in need of guidance. I will treasure these memories forever.
