I was Delroy's first Team Manager when he joined Capita in Leeds, after myself and Kev Trotter had interviewed him a few months previously. He was a joy to work with and to be around, genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever come across. I will always remember the way his shoulders shook when he laughed, I used to tell a joke of the week in team meetings and when I asked "If two vegetarians get into an argument, is it still called a beef?" he was the only one who found it funny. He was especially supportive and sent me some lovely words when my mum passed away. I wish I had kept in touch with him when he moved to the Sheffield office, and I will miss him.
