My Amazing, Witty, Classy, Fashionable, Graceful and Forever Faithful Grandma. You were like a shepherd to me, always directing, counseling and providing. Your chastisement and encouraging words have made me the person I am today. You taught me how to care for others feelings, you taught me how to cook most especially your favourite meal "Amala", no one ever left your home hungry. You taught me to always leave everything to God. You were more than just a grandma, you were a warrior, a fighter, a confidant, a rock, a shield, a comforter in human form. I remember the days you usually call me to your room to talk to me, advice me, and pray for me, the days you usually gift me jewelries and clothes and bags. Whenever I'm down you always have a way of uplifting my spirit spiritually, physically you're my backbone, financially you always come true. You've always been there and you're still there. I remember the gist and stories of your past experiences you always share with us and from which i have learnt a lot. I remember you telling me vividly after my service that you were going to attend my wedding, but as it is now you won't be able to attend physically but you will be there, in our heart always guiding and protecting. Thank you for being a blessing and instilling in us courage, boldness and strength to face our fears. Thank you for being a person we will always and always hold deep in our hearts. Thank you for being such an amazing wife, mother, friend and most importantly an awesome grandmother. You will forever have a special place in my heart. Rest well grandma.

The love of a grandma is unique. God must have given grandmothers to us to make our lives more complete, to make us well rounded and better human beings. Grandma you played a huge part in my childhood I could never forget, so many memories come to mind; forcing me to eat, helping you to carry your box every Saturday night so you can take your sunday outfit, telling us stories and so many more. You were never just my grandmother but my guardian, my friend and my inspiration. I didn't think I'd loose you this soon but all glory to God. I will miss you Grandma, but your spirit and strength lives on in each of us and in the lives that you touched. My grandmother was a woman of love, discipline, strength, conviction and wisdom. Love you grandma - You truly were a special, special woman! You may have passed on, but your memories would continually live with us. Thank you for your sacrifices, your care, your love and everything that you have done for me. I will forever be grateful and thankful that you were my grandma... Rest in peace Grandma... I will never forget you and I love you forever ❤️

My Grandma, my hero.  Honestly, I still can't wrap my head around all of these but I'm more than comforted in the fact that you've only transitioned to the best place literally. Really grateful to God for a life well spent grandma. You fought a good fight of faith and now you're resting in the bosom of the Lord. You loved the Lord and served him till the very end. Of all you gave to us I'll forever cherish the gift of knowing God. I'm so grateful for all of the memories— from the village stories, to the stories of how the Holy Spirit gave you our names, to the stories of how God kept you through it all, all of the songs you loved to sing— and I'll continue to hold them dear. My grandma, thank you, thank you and thank you for your unwavering support, you were such a constant in our lives. You were so involved in all of our lives grandma, so present, you really were a gift to us, a gift we cherished and will always cherish. You were my motivation, you believed so much in me and your words kept me going A LOT of times. I constantly console myself with the fact that you did live a good life Grandma, you invested in men and also built your treasures in Heaven. God wanted you home early for the Holidays this year and that's fine, he knows how to plan these things. You're elite now Grandma, rest well. I'll always love you ❤

Where do I even begin, I never saw myself writing this anytime soon. My beautiful grandmother, my support system, my prayer warrior, my role model, my first official roommate, I can remember screaming from my sleep one night because I had a nightmare and then you came to my bedside and prayed with me. Sometimes I wake up at night hoping you would come and check on me like you used to do but I don't see you, it's so hard to believe you are gone. It hurts so much to know I would never see you again, but I keep consoling myself because I know you are in a better place. You lived a good life grandma. You always achieved whatever you set your mind to do, you were a goal getter, you were always optimistic, you were a giver and a peacemaker. I will miss your lovely stories, I will miss picking out your Sunday outfits, I will miss making you Amala, I will miss you forcing me to eat, I will miss your voice(who's going to call me late at night to pray for me?) and above all i will miss been called "omo grandma". You played a big part in my childhood, you taught me a lot about love and the meaning of family. You have never been just my grandmother, but my guardian, my hero and my inspiration. You raised me into becoming such an amazing woman. We have shared so many beautiful and lovely memories together, and I will forever cherish them. Thank you for your sacrifices, your care and concern, your love and everything that you have done for me, I would never forget them. I love you always grandma❤. Keep on resting.

Tribute to Mythry Beautiful faces are everywhere but beautiful heart are rare to find! Gratitude to God for the grace He gave you maami for a life you well spent. ''it hurts deeply that we will not behold this very face anymore on this planet, nor will we hear your cool catchphrases again at the rise of the sun and your words drop at the setting of the day.... always hilarious, fascinating with everyone given rapt attention to the wisdom you speak; neither will our ears hear your humming of those victorious hymns at the appearances of the moon; but we are comforted that when we looks up to the sky we see you sets among the stars glowing." In our hearts we will hear your voice always through memories of time spent with you, we know some memories will take us to laughter and some will end us in tears; it's all cause of who you were to us.... your name you have written in gold upon our hearts. Now that you are in a beautiful place beyond this sinful world, have your peaceful rest maami... It hurts that when we arrive and the gate opens that we will not see you standing at the porch saying "ahh, e ekabo o"... you will still come upstairs to welcome us home properly and sit to gist with me... it always melt my heart of such humbleness and great care. We feel great peace in our heart for we know you are now standing with the #Saints# and the #Triumphant# ...good night mama Odunayo Adieu.....maami, Sleep on... Grandma! R.I.P......mama Yinkus We will miss you....Grandma Till glorious morning....Mama WEMLAK

It always seemed like we had all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is. I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later, which, along with you, is gone forever. You forgave all our childhood flaws with love; you stood by our side regardless of all our mistakes, you loved us beyond words, we love you so much, and will miss your presence in our lives mama. Continue to rest in his blossom.
