Pam, Richard & Philip myself & Jim are so sad to hear of your loss. Dave mentored both myself & Jim in all aspects of waste regulation over the years. He was a real gentleman but also made you laugh & always saw the funny side of life. His ankle used to play him up occasionally he told me it was an old scooter injury from years ago :) which was apt with Jim's love of scooters now. He was great to do site visits with as he got on so well with the waste operators who all really respected Dave's knowledge. He loved meeting people & was very kind & looked after me like a daughter, especially as he had worked with Jim previously, when I worked with him. We both have very fond memories of working with Dave may he RIP. God Bless you Dave see you at the Pearly Gates. Keep an eye on Russ as it will hit him hard!
