The impact that David had on my life cannot accurately be expressed in words. I was fortunate to take a class with him in the first semester of my MBA, which inspired me to take ALL of his courses during my time at Haskayne. To me he was a true leader - one that lived authentically, passionately, and empathetically. I fondly remember our after class/hallway chats, and that lovely warm glint in his eye when he was making a joke. The last time I spoke with him was a few months ago when I had asked him if he would be willing to write me a reference. As always he was so wonderfully supportive and I was so deeply touched by what he wrote. He will be deeply missed but remain an inspiration to many. My deepest heartfelt condolences to Sarah, his children, and the rest of his family. Great thanks, great peace, great love David.
