Denis Sheridan was born on April 11th, 1945 in Ardnaree, Balina, County of Mayo, Ireland. He worked as Staff Economist in the Department of Social Affairs at the United Nations and lived for many decades in mid-town Manhattan. After a 7-month long battle, he succumbed to his cancer of the tongue and peacefully passed away at hospice Isabella in Manhattan on Thursday, October 28th, 2021.

In subsequent years Tobie always knew when Denis was arriving to the apartment even when one was waiting for Denis to come. Tobie loved Denis so much. Denis took her on long walks around the nearby parks. She is so upset that her best friend Denis passed. May his Soul Rest in Peace!
