Buski as he was called back then was a very close friend and brother particularly in Junior High School. We shared a desk in class and a room with others in the hostel. Though we lost contact after 1996, we reconnected several years later albeit on social media after he had moved to the UK, and then chatted once in a while even until January this year.
Chavbuko, a beautiful soul, always full of life and laughter, generous to a fault, kind hearted and always willing to help. His passing came to me with great shock. I felt I had lost someone really close.
Rest in the bosom of the Lord Buski, rest well my brother and friend. May God comfort all the loved ones left behind, mama especially.
