Carol was the first person I met in the CCG when I started with Cambridgeshire County Council. Carol was so very welcoming and friendly, we attended many safeguarding adult meetings together and Carol was unwavering in her determination to do the right thing and make sure the voice of the most vulnerable was heard in a room full of professionals. I will miss her sense of humour and her calm manner. Her priority to protect the most vulnerable whilst always mindful of Human Rights was admiral. The world of Safeguarding will miss you Carol. Sending thoughts to her family at this very sad time
