Carol Davies

December 6, 1959 - November 13, 2020

Carol was a highly valued member of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Safeguarding People System. She had served for many years in different roles in both adults and children's safeguarding. Most recently she had served as the Deputy Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Adults at the CCG, having retired a year earlier from the Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Adults role. She will be dearly missed. We are glad to gather our thoughts and memories of her here.

So very sad to hear this news. Carol was the Designated Nurse at the CCG when I worked in Adult Safeguarding at Addenbrookes Hospital. She provided me with boundless support and I shall always gratefully remember her astute wisdom and her wry sense of humour. My condolences to her husband and family.
