Carl Storr

December 26, 1963 - June 3, 2020

Carl was a gentle man. He spoke sparingly but with wisdom and humour which endeared him to many of us. Although his wisdom was slightly more questionable when it came to football, (him being an Arsenal fan and all) and American Football (Miami Dolphins) sport brought him great pleasure. In a purely watching capacity! He travelled through life with a wonderful balance of kindness, calmness and a level of contentedness that many of us envied. Sadly, after a 37 year career in the Civil Service Carl passed suddenly last week. Given the man that he was, many of you will want to leave your thoughts, pictures and condolences here for his family to see. We are grateful for the time we spent with Carl and will miss him greatly.

I was extremely lucky that Carl joined my Aircraft Support IPT Commercial Team. He was a very conscientious & hard worker and his positive and calm attitude delivered excellent outcomes for his customers. Carl was rightly a valued member of the team and well respected by his project team Commercial & Non-Commercial colleagues at both Wyton & Abbey Wood and his industry counter-parts. Carl graciously accepted my lack of IT skills & laughed at my jokes, except of course where they were seen to belittle his beloved Arsenal FC. I was honoured to have known & worked with Carl. Sadly, another of the good guys taken far too soon! RIP sir.
