Having left the school as a member of staff nearly 20 years ago, it's been a while since I last saw Colin yet he's not forgotten. The twinkly eyes, kind smile and resigned look when he'd hear, 'Colin, can you help me for a second?!' from the classroom opposite his room. It never was just a second and he never seemed to mind, such was his kindness and generosity of spirit. Nothing was too much trouble. He was an asset to the school and his commitment and loyalty was second to none. Colin will be a hard act to replace. With heartfelt condolences to Jenny and all the family.
