Mr Butrus (Peter) Moushi Marogi, son of Marogi and Katrina, was born on 1st July, 1928, in Kirkuk, Iraq. He attended all of his schooling in Kirkuk and began his career at the International Petroleum Company (IPC) serving as the Chief Financial Officer for over 47 Years.
Peter was married to the late Najia Odish for 65 years. Together they had 8 children- Foad, Fadia, Firyal, Fahmi, Nadia, Nahla, Faris and Farook. 18 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Peter was a family man raising 8 children and providing them all with higher education.
Gardening, storytelling, watches, socialising, family gatherings and drinking tea were amongst his favourite things. He was beyond proud of all of this grandchildren and often was heard boasting about their great achievements. He was always seen in his signature look- Suit, tie, tie clip and his IPC pen to every outing.
Peter will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him or had the pleasure of meeting him but mostly his family whom have always cared and loved him so much.
