I am very sad to hear of Brendan's passing and would like to extend by deepest sympathies to Brendan's family. I got to know Brendan working at Seagate and we spent plenty of time at Templemore trying to perfect our swimming!. He relished the challenge of the open water swim and I was lucky to travel up to the reservoir in Derry with him on occasion. I was to learn in conversation with him that he was connected with Ballybofey, not too far from myself and he talked of the strong connection with the area. Rest in peace.
