There are no words today to express the loss which is felt by all of your colleagues. There is no justice nor fairness in the way you have been robbed from the world. Our hearts break for Joan – your beloved sister and colleague – we are not sure how she can pick herself up after this, having so recently lost her mother. And of course, because we are in Newmarket, we also know Joan, John, Monica, Brian, Stephen and Jennifer in local circles. This has rocked the town of Kanturk and the sense of loss and sadness overtakes all calls to our office from Kanturk today, where you were so loved for your goodness, neighbourliness, kindness and great sense of humour.
