Bob was born in London in 1951. He worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) in London; Manila, Philippines; Hong Kong; and Dublin, Ireland.
He married Darlene in 1975 and they have three children, Leanne, Stephen and Lynsey. Leanne & Mick have a daughter, Izzy (4); Stephen & Natalie have two sons, Ethan (7) and Arlo (4); and Lynsey & Matt have a son, Aiden (8). Bob absolutely adored his grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother, John and his wife, Julie, sister-in-law, Carol, as well as nieces and nephews in the UK and Canada. Bob had been suffering from COPD for over ten years, but particularly in the last two years. He will be greatly missed by us all.

TASSANI BABAKAIFF
As I grew up living on a different continent than my Uncle Bob, we did not have too much time together. But the times we did have together were quite memorable and I am grateful for those memories. I'll share two memories that mean a lot to me. When I was about 6, the Masters family came over to Thailand to visit my mother and I. We went to a zoo on the top floor of a mall (as it happens in Bangkok) and there was an orangutan that could not get enough of Uncle Bob. There were hundreds of people there but she only had eyes for him. It took multiple attempts by the handlers before he was able to get away. She knew a catch when she saw one! And my second most cherished memory is my dance with Uncle Bob at my wedding. I loved the whole dance and it meant so much to me that both my Aunt Darlene and Uncle Bob came all the way to Costa Rica to join me on my special day. Loved all the time we had together there. Please know I am holding all the Masters in heart right now and sending so much love to you all. Tassani Babakaiff, Niece, Canada
