Bishop Christopher D Bartlett

May 24, 1963 - April 7, 2020

Christopher Dacosta Bartlett a husband of 30 years to Vivien Bartlett went home to glory in the early morning on the 7th April 2020. His early and sudden departure has torn at the heart strings of us all. He leaves behind his loving wife, his two beautiful daughters, his caring son-in-law, his gorgeous grandson, his praying mother, his loyal brother, his three kind sisters and his father. This has left a big hole in our family and in the hearts of all those who knew him, as he was not only a devoted and loving husband, a caring son, a brother, a father and a proud grandfather but he was a caring Father in the Gospel, a Bishop, the Senior pastor at Burning Bush Apostolic Christian Ministries, a qualified Counsellor and a friend to many. Although we mourn his legacy still lives on and we will continue to build on his great works.

To the Bartlett family, I wish to send you my condolences for the loss of such a wonderful man, who in my time knowing him, was upstanding, held class and had honour. In my 25 years of working in the field and managing services in half that time, I have never come across such a dedicated, assured man who worked his profession as honestly and passionately as Christopher. I say this as every year, he top scored in his Appraisals and WAS the best worker in ALL of the services, and as his manager made me so very proud to have him in my team. I am so sorry for the loss of this man, for all that he gave to the world and I was blessed to have been graced by his presence for the last 4 years. As a manager, I think I will remember Chris, when he once recently said, that he gets paid doing something he loves. Not many people who go to work can say that. As a person, I shall remember him as a beautiful soul who lit up so much in people’s lives and gave so much love to those who he encountered on his journey. I wish you all well and wish you all peace and love. Delroy E. Ettienne
