We have only known Bill &Kath since our Greg married kate , but it was obvious that they had a loving relationship and holidayed with their children whenever they could and were proud of their extended family I had the opportunity of really getting to know Bill when we were knocking down walls at greg n Kate’s house , we laughed and made bad jokes and I’ve not seen Bill look so happy as we munched bacon rolls and drank tea in their building site back garden , this is a tough time for all the family, nevertheless almighty god does not forget even if we do, Bill &Kathfirmly believed in a bright future for the earth as we do which in better times they will again share in , until that time we will miss them . Bill & Kathy Hughes

January 4, 1948 - April 11, 2020

East-end boy, Bill meets and marries North London girl, Kathy in 1968. Theirs truly was a love story... one filled with love, laughter and family. Bill and Kathy were united in their love for Jehovah God, their faith brought them much joy and fulfilment. They built a wonderful life together and over 51 years of marriage, they could never bear to be apart, so maybe it is fitting that they fell asleep so closely together. Bill leaves behind his sister Barbara. Kathy was part of a large family and leaves behind brothers Sonny, Peter and Tony & sisters Shirley and Carole. They were so proud of each of their 5 children - Sam, Mike, Steve, Jo and Kate. They were delighted to welcome 15 grandchildren into their family. Bill and Kathy will be so greatly missed by their loving family and many friends - always remembered in their hearts until the day when they can be reunited.
