Tribute to a Dear Friend.
You were indeed a friend who sticked closer than a brother even though I knew you for a short time it seemed we've known each other for longer. I really saw in you a brother whom we shared so many things in common with. You were passionate about your relationship with God and others, you sure fought a good fight of faith. What can I say? I am grateful to God for the time he lended you to us. For we are comforted in knowing that you are asleep and we do not grieve like those who do not have hope. As said by thearmenian weekly; "if we were without faith we might despair, however the very essence of our centuries- old Christian Faith is Hope. Hope which is irrepressible and unshaken, despite trials and tribulations, despite tragedy and hardships, even despite death.
Hope is 'anchor' that steadies the soul and steadies us in storms, holds us up and gives us a spirit to go on with our lives. When hope vanishes our faith is weakened and there is pain, sadness, suffering and mourning for all has vanished. When hope is alive, our faith is strengthened and there is peace, comfort, joy and love for all things are alive".
One must truly not die without the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ. We really will miss you on this short side of eternity but we will by God's grace meet again on the Resurrection morning. Rest on my brother, friend and soldier of Christ till we meet again.
