Barry was always a character and always memorable and enjoyable to be around. He always used and knew people's names and had a story to tell about them. I remember finding out about Barry's news outside the office and up until that moment I thought he was invincible, I know Barry will always be a huge part of Bettys and Dudes and his legacy will continue into the far future. Barry was a one of a kind and he will stay cherished to all those who knew him, inside the industry and away from it.

My memories of you Barry will stay with me and Tamara forever. You was such a kind and genuine person. I remember sitting in your kitchen eating fish and chips the portion was so big we had to give you some bust was the best fish and chips we ever tasted from your local chippy, also helping you book some of your clients for the following day. You was always so cheerful with your beautiful smile. Rest in peace Barry xx

Barry always went above and beyond to help me with a casting... I remember many times when Barry would work ALL weekend just to help me out. He was a lovely kind man, with a wicked sense of humour and I shall miss him very much indeed! Camilla Arthur

Barry was one of the most genuine, hardworking and hilarious people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. He was a true one-off and I’m privileged I had the chance to know and work with him, he did everything for those of us he represented. I’ll never forget you Baz! James X

So saddened to hear about Barry. We always got on so well, from working together as SAs to him giving me background jobs when he opened B&D as I wasn’t on Spotlight, to long chats on the phone. We both had the same birthday and we used to race each other every year to see who got birthday wishes in first. Sleep well Barry ❤️

My sincere condolences to his friends & family. Barry was such a lovely chap, myself and my Daughter knew him from working in the industry. He was very kind and always had a smile on his face. He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace xx

I will always remember the phone calls that he always started with ‘ello darling’ . I always giggled to myself. He always had ‘a little job’ on the go. He was such a character even when he was first diagnosed. He always did his best for me and I will miss him so much. Xxx

Barry was truly one-of-a-kind! We would fight in the office who would get to call him as we all loved how he greeted us - always by our name followed by a little chat about everything and anything. And you would alway hang up feeling uplifted, regardless of how stressful your day was. Those were truly our favourite calls! And Barry always went above and beyond - 5min to 6pm, lots of dropouts for next day casting, Barry would always find you the right people in no-time and always call back to confirm that they will definitely be there. We didn't know of Barry's struggle and are hugely saddened by his early passing. But we know Team BD will carry on his legacy. We will miss you Barry and your infectious positivity. May you rest easy. Zita, Bex, Emily & everyone who has ever worked at ET Casting ❤️
