I am yet to come to terms with the reality of Mr Akinyemi's passing on. Since I came to the UK more than a decade ago, he has been my 'personal' accountant filing my tax returns with the HMRC on yearly basis. Most times we do 'last minute dot com' and hence my tax returns are usually filed few days to the end of January every year. This year was no exception. I didn't know that my visit to his office in January was going to be the last. I'm sure he didn't know either. Mr Akinyemi was a very brilliant, easy going, unassuming, professional and resourceful person. Very hard working, reliable and humble. I can write an epistle on Mr Akinyemi. My prayer is that God in His infinite mercies shall grant his amiable soul eternal rest and the family that he left behind (including the aged Mum) the fortitude to bear this evidently irreparable loss. Adieu Mr Anthony Akinyemi! You came, you saw and you conquered. Your memory lingers on!
