Our beloved colleague and friend Anne joined Greenpeace France back in 2006, as a volunteer coordinator. She shifted to working as an energy campaigner, then as a team leader for the sustainable agriculture campaign. Most of us in the global Greenpeace network will know and remember her for the incredible energy and leadership she showed while developing and launching the global Meat and Dairy campaign. It was in the most demanding positions that Anne's professional and personal gifts were so valuable: a relentless energy, a deep commitment to the cause, the care she had as a team leader in fighting for her colleagues and her project... For the best of the last 15 years, Anne was an inspiration to many of us, as a campaigner, as a team leader, as a friend. Anne passed away in a tragic accident on the 20th of October 2020. She will be remembered as a passionate environmentalist and a caring colleague, but foremost as the loving mother of 10-year-old twins Lou and Matheo. All our thoughts and love now go to them, to Anne's family, and to those closest to her. We will miss you, Anne.

    Anne (the one in the center with the red wig) was passionate and organized about everything in her life, whether to came to her kids, her work with us at the Global Alliance for the Future of Food, or learning about permaculture and apiculture in Corsica. We only had Anne in our lives for a short 8 months but it felt like years. She worked with me on the Climate and Health & Well-being Impact Areas at the Global Alliance and it was a great partnership. I am going to miss her positive, can-do spirit and the enormous energy she brought with her.

    Really sad to hear this news. I always had good memories of working with Anne...so sad when someone dies so young. Condolences to all her close friends and family.

    Souvenir d'une belle soiree en compagnie d'Anne dont je me souviendrai le caractere, le tournage de Petrol addict, le travail acharne pour nos collegues en prison en Russie, et bien sur... les talons qui resonnaient dans le bureau. Mes pensees a ses enfants, leur pere ainsi que toute sa famille. De tout coeur avec vous.

    J'ai beaucoup de souvenirs avec Anne et j'ai essayé ces dernières 24 heures de me remémorer les plus joyeux. Déjà, c'est elle qui m'avait "envoyé" sur ma première action après mon arrivée à Greenpeace, en 2012. C'était à Marseille pour installer une banderole sur la Bonne mère à propos des forages pétroliers. Ensuite, il y a eu la crise des Arctic 30 et des rencontres lunaires avec l'ambassadeur de Russie à Paris, Michel Rocard (alors ambassadeurs des pôles). Et puis, il y a eu aussi ce déjeuner mémorable chez Cyril Lignac, avec deux dirigeants de Leclerc, juste après le lancement de notre campagne contre eux. Déjà, j'ai rarement aussi mal mangé (Lignac déteste les végétariens qu'on se le dise !) et puis surtout j'ai failli partir à plusieurs reprises tant l'équipe de Leclerc était désagréable et de mauvaise foi. Je me souviens de regards complices avec Anne où nous essayions de nous mettre d'accord sur le fait de quitter la table ou non. Finalement nous sommes restés et la campagne a donné ce qu'elle a donné ensuite. Nous avons beaucoup ri ce jour-là, après ce déjeuner. Je vais garder ces moments-là, et d'autres, en tête.
