Shocked to hear at the passing of Sandy. Like others from DUSA he features in a lot of my memories from my 7 years there. Particularly enjoyed working with him when our students came up with an off the wall idea and you could see Sandy working out the plans to help make it happen safely. I learned a lot from Sandy and he pops into my head from time to time when my students are suggesting something off the wall. Thinking back, I'm sure he had quite an impact on my approach to event management and probably never knew that.
Condolences to you all, we have lost one of the good ones.
