Sending my very best wishes and sincere condolences to Alan's family and friends. I knew of Alan years before I met him through force of reputation alone! and when I finally did meet him on the revision weekends, I was not disappointed. Alan was so vibrant and engaging and was a massive support for ICSA students throughout the years; always fully present in the sessions, challenging us to find the answers we had somewhere in the dark recesses of memory, responsive to questions at all kinds of hours and shared in our outrage at the more... esoteric questions from the exam setters! He leaves a massive hole in the study experience and will be a cornerstone of Co Sec folklore for years to come.
Thank you Alan, you will be sorely missed.
